Marie-Ève Charron — Patrick Bérubé
Marie-Ève Charron — Patrick Bérubé
With intelligence and irony Patrick Bérubé, an artist residing in Montreal who was born in Rimouski, explores our Western behaviour in the early twenty-first century. By connecting images and objects and in his sculptures and installations, photography and writings, he highlights our fragility and ungainliness with respect to our seemingly minor but oh so revealing little difficulties in life. Patrick Bérubé’s study of our private gestures reveals a keen eye for our faults and vulnerabilities, bringing out what are known as social realities.
