The duo Cooke-Sasseville, the foursome Delabela, and the duo formed by artists Julie Dallaire and Edith Normandeau make works that exaggeratedly appropriate the images, objects, and constructions of the advertising and mass-entertainment worlds. Addressing creative production in collectives in this case, curator Mélanie Boucher also reveals the causes, consequences, and intentions linked to this appropriation.
